BC Pride
My time at “BC Pride”, Battle Creek Pride, has ranged between 2023 for a brief 3 months, then I returned in 2024 for more work and to gain more experience working with a widely diverse group. This community has educated me on strong subjects of the elderly and Domestic Violence in the LGBTQ+ community, and how to create powerful graphics.
These graphics were thoughtfully created by me and the oversight of an amazing board team to display representation, pride, and equality in order to create a welcoming community service for those in need. My time here was spent doing creative studies for proper vendor designs while simultaneously planning events, creating stickers, board meeting practices, and creating mini projects such as sticker and shirt designs.

Remax LGBTQ+ Housing Experience
One of my bigger collaborative pieces has been 2024 ad creations with companies like Remax, with multiple artists and administrators overseeing the work. Homeownership is displayed with a colorful LGBTQ+ color scheme that is consistent, including legible text that appears big, bold, and shows importance where it needs to be critical. Remax gave us the information and provided us resources that further help within the LGBTQ+, providing research on Discrimination, homeownership, down-payments, and more. Providing graphics like this out in the public has helped make others aware of the companies there to make real estate experiences more friendlier.
LGBTQ+ Mental Health Disparities
I spent time gathering research and finding source materials on the mental health disparities within the LGBTQ+ communities through sites and surveys from credible resources within the United States, such as Psychology Benefits and the Trevor Project.
The importance of this work is for awareness of suicide and substance abuse, how to prevent them, and how people within the LGBTQ+ community are affected mentally through non-supportive family and friends. This poster provides a safe space for those who wish to seek support and to be provided with health advocates within a more diverse community. This piece was carefully created to capture every important detail and then printed onto posters for Kellogg Community College’s Mental Health Awareness Month.
BC Pride in Figma
Mobile & MAC
A 3-week-long project of Figma wireframes for a project I did to recreate a website, recreate their logo, and gather images for Battle Creek Pride. The goal is to capture the view of the location that represents how welcoming the space is, where to obtain information for donations, resources, events, and other information.
USER NEEDS: The user is interested in a Pride event in November while in Battle Creek. Going to the BC Pride website to view and sign up for the events is needed to join.
USER TASK: The user goes to the events tab on the web page to view the dates available for any specific event, signs up.
Mini Projects
Mini projects that I got to work on the side while working on the larger previous projects, including sticker designs, bookmarks, and some lettermarks.
